## Rock Hound Hunting Policy **Rudy’s Rocks | Northern New Mexico** At Rudy’s Rocks, we offer professionally guided rock hound experiences designed for education, recreation, and responsible land stewardship. Our goal is to provide a memorable hands-on experience while protecting the natural landscape of Northern New Mexico. ### 1. Guided Access Only * All rock hound excursions must be scheduled in advance. * Participants must be accompanied by an authorized Rudy’s Rocks Guide. * Private property and designated collection zones are clearly identified and respected at all times. ### 2. Respect for the Land * We follow a strict **Leave No Trace** standard. * No disturbance of vegetation, archaeological sites, or wildlife habitats. * No digging beyond permitted depth without guide approval. * All trash must be packed out. ### 3. Collection Limits * Rock collection is limited to approved surface material unless otherwise directed. * Quantity limits apply per guest to preserve resources for future visitors. * Commercial resale of collected materials is prohibited without written authorization. ### 4. Safety Standards * Closed-toe footwear required. * Gloves and eye protection recommended. * Guests must follow all guide instructions. * Children must be supervised at all times.
